A beguiling, life size patinated bronze resin study of a young girl with a butterfly in her hands. Wonderfully detailed, in a Sheila Mitchel manner. The girl is wearing a pinafore dress and slippers , perfectly outlined and indicating movement. The young girl is looking in a amazement at a butterfly (detailed in brass) that has landed in the palm of her hands. A truly wonderful study from all angles. Of a large life like size, very heavy, suitable for both indoor and outdoor.
