This fine and rare pair of English antique standard lamps, dating to circa 1910, features exquisite Chinoiserie decoration and exceptional craftsmanship. Each lamp displays a turned column and separate base, richly finished with raised and lacquered detail. The black ground provides a dramatic backdrop for hand-painted gold and multi-coloured animal and landscape scenes, executed with remarkable clarity and depth. These antique Chinoiserie floor lamps serve as striking decorative statements and remain highly sought after today, as their elegant proportions and timeless design allow them to sit comfortably in both period interiors and contemporary homes. A rare opportunity to acquire a matching pair of early 20th-century English lamps with strong visual impact and enduring appeal.
