This superb antique French mahogany pot cupboard cabinet, dating to the Belle Époque period, displays exceptional craftsmanship and exhibition-level quality. Believed to have been shown at the Paris Exposition of 1889, the cabinet combines a masterful selection of timbers with sophisticated decorative techniques.

The maker formed the curved door from a single piece of mahogany and enhanced the design with reeded and fluted legs, finely detailed parquetry panels, and richly ornamented bronze appliqués across the door and drawer fronts. A beautifully patterned marble top crowns the cabinet, while the cupboard retains its complete marble-lined interior, a rare and highly desirable feature.

Elegant, versatile, and finely executed, this Belle Époque cabinet offers practical storage and refined presence, making it suitable for any room in the home.
